Matthew McMahon

About

Matthew McMahon is a singer/songwriter from Melbourne, Australia. After years of writing music for only his own enjoyment, in 2022 he was selected for the Cardinia Music Residency where he was inspired to finally share his songs with others.

Working with producers Jarred Young (Bad Pony) and Elizabeth M. Drummond, Matthew's musical style was shaped drawing from a range of influences such as Mutemath, Death Cab for Cutie, Circa Survive and Phoenix, as well as Australian artists such as Art of Sleeping and AYLA.

Matthew's debut single 'Table for Twenty' has been described as "an enchanting atmosphere that blends pop and rock with an electronic sonic wavelength" and "a collision of The Black Keys, Imagine Dragons and Tame Impala".
